4. COOKIES AND OTHER SIMILAR DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGIES

As described in Sections 3 and 5 of this Privacy Policy, we sometimes work with third parties to deliver ads or offers. Sometimes we or these third parties do so through a mobile "SDK." The SDK is a bit of computer code that app developers can include in their apps to enable data to be collected and ads to be shown. We may use this and similar technology to deliver certain advertising through mobile applications and browsers based on data associated with your mobile device, and we may work with third parties who likewise embed their SDKs into our services, for third party advertising. If you"d like to opt-out from having ads tailored to you in this way on your mobile device, please follow the instructions below or in the app (as applicable).

If you wish to opt out of interest-based tracking through your mobile device, you can do so through your device "settings", as follows (but please note that the below is for informational purposes only and Apple, Google, or other device platforms may change the manner in which their "opt out" settings work at any time): Please note that if you opt out through these settings, you will continue to receive advertising after you opt-out, but it may not be tailored to your interests. For instance, that advertising may be based on your real-time or "contextual" application usage or general location inferred from IP address.

Opting Out on iOS Devices Such as iPhones, iPads or iPods
If you have an Apple device, you can opt out of interest-based advertising by updating to iOS 6.0 or higher, and setting Limit Ad Tracking to "ON". On an iPhone 6 for example, you can do this by clicking on Settings -> General -> Privacy -> Advertising and toggling "Limit Ad Tracking" to "ON". Our systems are designed to respect your choice and not use your personal information to provide interest-based advertising when this setting is ON.

Opting Out on Android Devices
If you have an Android device and would like to opt out of interest-based advertising, you may do this as follows:

  • Open the Settings app on your device
  • Go to "Google"
  • Select Ads
  • Opt out of interest-based ads

We do not associate your IP address with your online activities and we do not store or log your IP address after you disconnect from the VPN.

We do not keep logs of your online activities and never associate any domains, or applications that you access while the VPN is connected with you or your device.

We DO NOT use your non-personal information (meaning information that, by itself, does not identify who you are such as device information) for targeted online marketing through tools like Facebook Custom Audience to contact interested parties.

  • Some of our apps may offer you the ability to register and login using your third party social media account details (like your Facebook or Twitter logins). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the app you are using, and on the social media provider concerned, but may often include your name, e-mail address, mobile phone number and friends list. If you login using your Facebook account, your e-mail or your phone number then we may receive a unique ID in connection with this login. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third party social media provider. We recommend that you see their privacy policy to understand how they collect, use and share your information, and how you can set your privacy preferences on their sites and apps.
  • If you have registered with an app using your social media account details, we may use the information we receive from your social media provider to identify which of your friends are also using our services so that you can connect with them in our app.

In some services, to ensure a consistent experience across your devices

  • Link the various apps and devices you use, so that you can enjoy a consistent experience of our services on all of them. This will allow us to form a single view of your use of our services, so you can easily access your content on multiple devices. For this purpose and better user experience generally, we may use and combine your personal information which we collect across different services used by you.

  • Conduct research and analysis of your behaviour about your use of, or interest in, our products, services, or content to improve our services and content (for instance, we may decide to change the look and feel or even substantially modify a given feature based on users" behaviour). This software may record information such as how often you use the services, what happens within the services, aggregated usage, performance data, app errors and debugging information, and where the apps were downloaded from.

SaveFrom uses the information provided by web beacons to develop a better understanding of how the Website"s visitors use the Website, and to facilitate those visitors" interactions with the Website. SaveFrom may make the aggregate data obtained from web analytics (including from our third party analytics providers, if applicable) publicly available. Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Services, and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Services.

Registration Information. If you create an account in connection with your use of any of the Services (“Account”), either through our Site or when you set up and register one of our Products, we’ll collect certain information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number and credit card information (“PII”). If you create an Account using your login credentials from one of your accounts with certain third-party social networking services such as Facebook or Twitter (each, an “SNS Account”), we’ll be able to access and collect your name and email address and other PII that your privacy settings on the SNS Account permit us to access. Payment Information . When you purchase the Services, we will also collect transaction information, which may include your credit card information, billing and mailing address, and other payment-related information. We describe how Payment Information may be collected and processed in the “Payment Information” section of this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected Using Cookies and other Web Technologies . Like many website owners and operators, we use automated data collection tools such as Cookies and Web Beacons to collect certain information.

“Cookies” are small text files that are placed on your hard drive by a Web server when you access our Services. We may use both session Cookies and persistent Cookies to automatically collect information on how you interact with our Services, such as the IP address from which you access the Services, date and time of your interaction, information about your browser, operating system, and your device, pages viewed and items clicked and identify that you’ve logged in to the Services. We may also collect location information, including location information automatically provided by your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect some of this information. For more information, please see our Cookie Policy .

We may also use Cookies to monitor aggregate usage and web traffic routing on our Services and to customize and improve our Services. Unlike persistent Cookies, session Cookies are deleted when you log off from the Services and close your browser. Although most browsers automatically accept Cookies, you can change your browser options to stop automatically accepting Cookies or to prompt you before accepting Cookies. Please note, however, that if you don’t accept Cookies, you may not be able to access all portions or features of the Services. Some third-party services providers that we engage (including third-party analytics services) may also place their own Cookies on your hard drive.

We use Log Data to administer the Services and we analyze (and may engage third parties to analyze) Log Data to improve, customize and enhance our Services by expanding their features and functionality and tailoring them to our Users’ needs and preferences. We may use a person’s IP address to generate aggregate, non-identifying information about how our Services are used.

Information Sent by Your Mobile Device . We may collect certain information that your mobile device sends when you use our Services, like a mobile device identifier, user settings and the operating system of your device, as well as information about your use of our Services.

Location Information . When you use our Services, our third-party services providers (such as Google Analytics) may collect and provide us with information about your location by converting your IP address into a rough geolocation. We may use this location information to improve and personalize our Services for you.

Third Party Platforms . We use side third party services to provide you with the best experience on our website and to offer you the most appropriate and useful content. To reach this goal we need to use third-party services which on their side collect the data to help us reach the goals mentioned above. Among such services the main ones are 9but not limited to)

We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide , maintain , protect and improve them, to develop new ones , and to protect Google and our users . We also use this information to offer you tailored content – like giving you more relevant search results and ads.

We may use the name you provide for your Google Profile across all of the services we offer that require a Google Account. In addition, we may replace past names associated with your Google Account so that you are represented consistently across all our services. If other users already have your email, or other information that identifies you, we may show them your publicly visible Google Profile information, such as your name and photo.

If you have a Google Account, we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take on Google or on third-party applications connected to your Google Account (such as +1’s, reviews you write and comments you post) in our services, including displaying in ads and other commercial contexts. We will respect the choices you make to limit sharing or visibility settings in your Google Account.

When you contact Google, we keep a record of your communication to help solve any issues you might be facing. We may use your email address to inform you about our services, such as letting you know about upcoming changes or improvements.

We use information collected from cookies and other technologies, like pixel tags , to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. One of the products we use to do this on our own services is Google Analytics. For example, by saving your language preferences, we’ll be able to have our services appear in the language you prefer. When showing you tailored ads, we will not associate an identifier from cookies or similar technologies with sensitive categories , such as those based on race, religion, sexual orientation or health.

Our automated systems analyze your content (including emails) to provide you personally relevant product features, such as customized search results, tailored advertising, and spam and malware detection.

Accessing and updating your personal information

Whenever you use our services, we aim to provide you with access to your personal information . If that information is wrong, we strive to give you ways to update it quickly or to delete it – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. When updating your personal information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.

We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).

Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free, except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.

We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Google unless one of the following circumstances applies:

    Example

    "more relevant search results"

For example, we can make search more relevant and interesting for you by including photos, posts, and more from you and your friends.

Privacy Policy
